Anita Windisman – President

Anita WindismanAs Founder and President of One of a Kind Publishing Inc., Anita Windisman has over 15 years of experience in the area of sales and marketing, with the last 11 being Internet related. While she started her online career in advertising, she has extensive expertise in eBusiness strategy development, web marketing and content delivery, having worked with many large corporations such as Levi Strauss, Toronto Hydro, and Royal LePage. Active in the industry, Anita has presented at numerous conferences across North America. She writes a blog on her business interests, including the topics of mass customization, personalization and one-to-one marketing.

Anita holds an MBA from the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

   

Alan Langford – CTO

Alan LangfordAlan Langford is One of a Kind Publishing's Chief Technology Officer.

Alan brings over twenty years of systems and business consulting experience focused on the intersection of technology and marketing. He has extensive experience in databases, web applications, transaction processing, and telecommunications. His marketing experience includes strategic planning, branding, web sites, direct marketing, database marketing, interactive promotions, and loyalty programs.

Alan has held senior positions in both technology and marketing organizations, and has served as a director and advisor for several companies.

   

Emmanuelle Hertel – Managing Editor

Emmanuelle HertelEmmanuelle Hertel leads One of a Kind Publishing’s editorial staff and also works from her home in Victoria, BC as a freelance copy editor and proofreader.  She obtained her BA in English from the University of Victoria in 2005, prior to moving to Toronto to receive formal Publishing education at Ryerson University.  She has experience in editing everything from full-length fiction novels to short academic papers, and her clientèle ranges from renowned Canadian authors to PhD students in Edinburgh, UK.  She is also the Copy editor for a Toronto-based non-profit newspaper, Good News Toronto: Our Everyday Heroes.
